Trust US ~ A Prayer Share

Why Unify?  Why pray?  What does life want from each of us, and for all of us, together?

Today, I am preparing for VISION and for a major ceremony with UNIFY at Beloved Festival next week.   This is spirit’s voice through me in this moment:

I trust each of you, to the depths of my core, in the listening we hold as a collective.

What arises  in the diversity of our voices, our inspirations, our dances, our visions, reveals the key of DIVERSITY within the prayer for UNITY.  Meaningful unity requires that we each see, know, and engage from different angles in consciousness.

Life says – you can not do it wrong.
Just love.

The land is speaking.

We’re in Shasta camped around an alpine lake nestled into a quiet valley at 7,000 feet.
The air is filled with the smoke of wild fires burning throughout the region.

I woke at dawn to silent, violet haze and the love screech of two blue herons – rare at 7,000 feet.
Herons are harbingers of the collective intelligence of PEACE.

My dreams last night were a vivid, multidimensional tapestry kundalini, spiders and fires.

Remember – we are the weavers. We are the web – our human consciousness is one of the most powerful bioelectric/psychic forces in the universe.

In the listening, I am hearing the continuous echo:  JUNTOS TODOS ES POSSIBLE – together, everything is possible.

If any one of us goes deep within, we find both terror and palpable electricity, the divine excitement of this planetary moment in which we live.
We are the ones who choose.

Love or fear?

We are the ones who will remember or be lost forever.

This is the ancient and the future calling of the evolutionary potential of humanity.

As the skies fill with smoke of the wild fires burn out of control, I am confronted with my powerlessness.

In the face of the fires, what can I do?  …nothing.

But, within me, rises a deep call – Juntos, Todos es possible.

Hands, hearts, bodies, souls – aligned together in action, for life.

So many different actions for life.

Fire fighters, prayer keepers, dancers, mothers, lovers, farmers..

Together, we can birth a new world.

Flow, flock, lead dissolves to follow.

LISTEN.

Allow.

Step in.

Engage!

Let go of being right. Listen to the calling of life. INVITE.
COCREATE the harmony of the whole.
PULSE with and for and through.
Life wants more life.  Love wants more love.

This is ours to be.
This is ours to give.
This is our response-ability, our duty, our joy.

WE are UNIFY.
We are freedom.
We are love.

Finding Clarity

Find clarity in the full spectrum of your life.

My litte overwhelm…

Two days ago, I found myself desperately praying for clarity.  I was so overwhelmed with what felt like too much to do, too much to hold, too many responsibilities and too little time.  I was literally immobilized.  (Sound familiar?)  Compounding this, I simply could not hold the vast feeling of unknowing surrounding every aspect of my life, work and relationships – everything up for constant redevelopment and shift – EVERYTHING evolving – CONSTANTLY.  The temptation to drown in the quicksand was huge!

I am in a place in my life where I have manifested and exceeded just about every dream I have ever had. Community, partner, business, opportunity, great health, good friends, global projects to change the world… all happening now. And, it’s all pretty whelming at times. My businesses has grown beyond my capacity to manage it alone, so I now have a whole organization working with me. My partnership is ever evolving – a home beyond definition – which is the deepest invitation I have ever lived to love truly and fully in the way of God – and which is totally terrifying at times. The global projects I’m working on are high-stakes and high risk and require both an expanded level of vigilance and presence and a very mature level of compassion and surrender.

Mostly, I love it…  but, sometimes lately, I’ve been totally stressed out.

It’s been really interesting to see what I do.  (I kinda think of myself as my own private social experiment.) I’ve been taking that frustration and anger and all the stuck and small feelings to God. Sometimes, I’ve been raging in my prayers.  Like, “WTF, GOD?  What’s this all about?”

God just laughs and smiles and says, “It’s for you.”

And, being a human being, sometimes I’ve gotten madder.  (Anger is so predictable.)

But, by two days ago, I was just done being upset. I was just done arguing (which never works). So, I took a desperate prayer to god.

“Please god, give me clarity.  Give me peace.  I need your help.  I need it now.”

What happened quietly startled me.

Instead of new information, I was gifted silence.  Instead of visions of futures and projects, I was given presence.  Instead of the clarity I have known before of guidance and direction, I WAS GIVEN PEACE.

Today, I am living the way.  I am un-overwhelmed.  I am at peace.  And, somehow, easily, without effort, the path forward, one step at a time, is reveling its self as one of clarity and grace.

So, what I want to say to YOU, today, is this:

Make a prayer to clean the slate, clear the clutter, open your heart and free your mind.  If you are overwhelmed, and I know you sometimes are, do what you need to do to open this space for grace. Dance, sing, meditate, go to nature, have a really good sweat, get yourself to a ceremony…. whatever it is. I promise, the silence is worth as much or more than the infinite space it contains.

Are You Overwhelmed?

Some thoughts on information overload and the path of non-violence.  

Lately, I’ve been present to how information overwhelm is a subtle form of violence – a stressor on the nervous system that prevents me from actually embodying peace. 

Have you noticed the way your body feels when you are working to take in all the information coming at you – to answer the phone, the SMS’s, the Skype, the IM’s, to read all the emails, to stay up to date on the latest breakthroughs, to track the emotions of your friends and partners, to maintain political participation, etc, etc, etc…???

There is a subtle and very important distinction between working in a curious and disciplined way to expand your capacity to assimilate new information, connections and experiences, and the place where it becomes an overwhelm to your system and thus inhibits optimal presence, assimilation, integration and action. 

PEACE means navigating a healthy boundary between expanding your capacity and weeding your garden.  It means breathing into the more to find flow.

Elegant, implicate presence and action arise in the space of “nothing extra” – a less-is-more simplicity that includes the full spectrum – from extreme momentum to doing nothing.  This supports an inner experience of non-violence that cannot arise from over-pushing; it can only arise in flow.  Listening for and acting from the “nothing extra” supports you to navigate this this post-2012, post-information, neo-time era, when the fields of time, space and information are nearing singularity, in a graceful way.  It supports you to BE the zero point in action and in essence.

Questions: 

• How can you ground your nervous system in the context of immense amounts of information while staying open, alert and curious to new and important information and patterns?
• How can pattern recognition create a filter for information?
• How can you be ok with what you can’t attend to while vibrantly offering your presence and attention to what you can?
• How are expansion and containment related?

In and Beyond Time

Words Fall in oneness, through me.

Words fall on my side of the cosmic divide between this “one”
and “everything else.”

It is for me to hear through my soul channel,
As it is for you to hear through yours.

We are not alone in the hearing
Because the listening itself is a fabric,
a connective
act,
a verb that is a tissue,
a structure,
a promise
of gossamer connectivity between all things
In all time
In now.

I no longer forget.
I no longer remember.
I act or be
Be and act.

Noun into verb,
Verb into noun
All object.
All subject.

All subject to the rulership of divine harmony,
divine
chaos.
All in service to the sweet channel… of love.
And, in this, I have chosen.

I choose to dance the violet pentacle at the center of the flame,
At the center, where all hands grasp through the fire,

I choose a creativity
Which is uniquely peace.

I chose embodiment that is universally peace.

That is what is.
No more.
No less.
We are bowls of water.
Always full
Always empty.

Half and half is for beginners.
Take it all and leave it all.

And, still…
Don’t forget skillful maybe –
the open portal to what is beyond imagining.

But,
leave ambivalence at the door.

In this fierce storm of yes,
this sweet autumn of wind,
this quiet knowing of the path:

Begin in the Body.
Let it live.
Let it breath.
Let it feed.
Let it be soft, animal, instinctive and
Unavoidable.

Begin in the body, and connect.
This is where peace lives.
Peace becomes.
Peace acts, one gesture at a time.

Begin in the body.
Live in the heart.
This is not a choice.

This is a fact.
ACT from this fact.
And through this align in and beyond – space and time.

We have far more power, more knowledge, more capacity and more beauty available to us than we give ourselves credit for.
